About Us
We are a small theatre company who are planning to be on the increase... but only in the theatrical terms.

We performed 'Derbyshire Roots' in Ashbourne and where it was well received by its audience.
This original material was included in Buxton's Fringe Festival;
The Pauper's Pit in Buxton We've just concluded performance at this venue - to great acclaim! from official reviewers for the festival... over the summer we are running workshops and performing poetry at a variety of venues, however, the main project is writing and rehearsing ready for the autumn and winter months when Corridor will once again take people 'from here to somewhere else'. We'll see you soon... have a good summer./review 1  /review 2

Company history
Before our two year break Corridor was busy in Ashbourne, Buxton and Derby. We played festivals and other venues largely performing our own work- poetry and plays.
We directed a successful production of Macbeth for  a Derbyshire Youth Theatre.
We also won awards for one of Corridors' actors taking the female lead in a production of the play 'Widows' by Ariel Dorfmann. In 2001 Corridor wrote, directed and performed a play which had been commissioned by the Alzheimers Society, its debut was in Ashbourne Arts Festival, and then went on to Buxton Arts Festival where it recieved excellent reviews. Corridor has also worked in association with a number of organisations workshopping - seminars of teachers and enabling peope with learning difficulties and physical disabilities. Corridor also ran a series of theatre workshops for children and young people which resulted in them being enabled to devise and perform a selection of original drama.
